Turnkey projects
Design and build under one roof, single point of accountability.
Concept through to handover, managed by one team. For clients who want a single point of accountability — and the honesty of a builder involved from the first line.
Why SV Built
The cleanest projects we deliver are the ones where we're at the design table from day one — one team, one point of contact, from the first sketch to handing over the keys.
-
01
One team owns the outcome.
If something needs attention — schedule, cost or quality — you call one number. No passing it between designer, engineer and builder. That single line of accountability is most of the value of turnkey.
-
02
Cost and buildability are in the design from day one.
The people designing the home are the people building it, so decisions are made with both performance and buildability in mind from the start. We'd rather have the hard cost conversation early than spring a surprise mid-build — the home you see in the drawings is the home we can build.
-
03
Design coherence, all the way through.
Interiors, joinery, landscape and hardware are part of the same conversation as the structure — not added on at the end. You see one design language, carried from plan to handle.
-
04
Performance is designed in, not retrofitted.
Because we control the whole process, turnkey is one of the most reliable ways to reach a high-performance — or certified Passive House — home. The energy and comfort targets are set at the design table and built in from day one, not bolted on at the end.

FAQ
Turnkey questions.
- What does a turnkey home build mean?
- Turnkey means the home is delivered complete and ready to live in — you turn the key and move in. Instead of engaging a designer, a builder and trades separately, you hand the whole project to us to manage: design, approvals, construction and finishes. The alternative is a fragmented build where you coordinate each party yourself.
- Is design included in a turnkey project?
- Yes. Design is part of the engagement, not a separate step you arrange first. We come in at the design stage — helping select and work alongside your architect — and design and construction sit under a single contract. You are not handed a set of drawings and left to find a builder who can deliver them.
- Can a turnkey home be built to Passive House standard?
- Yes — turnkey is well suited to it. Passive House certification depends on details that cross trades: airtightness, thermal bridging, ventilation and glazing. With one team accountable across all of them, those targets can be modelled, built and verified consistently — far harder to guarantee when the work is split between separate designers and builders.
